Refined sketch. This is the same version has the one I ended up coloring, but it's missing some details.
Finished pencil drawing for coloring, but I still had to change Link's expression.
Flat colors first
Continuing with the coloring. I like to use weird color for the background so I can make sure I'm coloring within the lines. I was also testing some brushes.
Finished the figures and the horse. The arrow was a reminder of the light source.
